Metro Urgent was formed in 1997 with a small team based out of the Waikato.
The business has grown with teams now based in the Waikato, South Waikato, Bay of Plenty, Coromandel and South Auckland regions. This growth has been driven by offering a prompt, efficient and quality service.  Our team of staff achieves this with a ‘can do attitude’ and by getting the job done!

Our fleet of vehicles, in various configuration, coupled with our ever growing network has allowed us to introduce services and deliveries of 40 mins, 60 mins, 90 mins & 2 hour timed services throughout the Waikato and Bay of Plenty region, and same day or over night to South Waikato, Coromandel and South Auckland.

We have also developed and offer a ‘Rapid Response’ 24 hour Urgent call out service for when that delivery just has to get there – North Island or South Island, we have the tools to get the job done.

We use the latest dispatch system technology that enables our customers to book their own deliveries, check pricing and even track our drivers using goggle maps – all while their parcel is on board. Once the item has been delivered, the customer receives a ‘sign on the screen’ signature and detailed delivery status via email – and its all in ‘real time’.

We offer an online booking system to regular clients that includes driver tracking in real time, emailed proof of delivery, auto fill addresses, printed waybills/connotes and much more.
